In Japanese philosophy, Ki is one of the most important concepts about life, about human being. Ki is the vital energy. This concept lays at the origin of all activities, irrespective of them, also at the origin of Martial Arts. |

Ki is the native energy, the subtle energy manifestation that grasps the all Universe and bound his manifestation, visible and invisible. "On the ocean shore, one man takes in his hands a little bit of water from the sea, and he say: "this water is mine". Of course he may be right. Temporarily the water belong him. Whit all this, the water comes from the ocean, and if he spill it on the sand or it is evaporate, the water will comes back in the ocean trough the rain."

The same thing it happens whit our lives. Through our body we insulate a part from Universal Ki and ten we are saying: "that's me". The Ki that give us life belong to the Universal Ki as water from our man hands belong to the ocean. However the extension of Ki has a constantly and spontaneous character. Our personal Ki cannot be separated from the Universal Ki. Between our Ki and the Universal Ki is a permanent connection. This is the essence of being: a mutual connection between our Ki and the Universe's. We are healthy when connection doesnt meet any obstacles in his way, and when the Ki flux it is lower we become inconscious. |

When this connection stops, the being diappear. We die. |
